Questions about our ISP products
What each product does, and how it fits into an internet provider’s network.
What is the Ibex ISP and RADIUS management platform?
It is a multi-region, multi-timezone SaaS platform that internet providers migrate onto to run their business: the subscriber base, a four-level reseller chain (ISP, seller, reseller, sub-reseller) funded by prepaid wallets, time-based packages with automatic billing, IP pools and network devices. It is built for 10–20 million subscribers.
Which routers and network equipment does the platform control?
The platform controls routers and OLTs over SSH and SNMP, including MikroTik, Juniper, Huawei and many OLT platforms. Each region bills and renews on its own local clock.
Can I use the IP Pool Manager without the full platform?
Yes. The IP Pool Manager runs inside the Ibex platform or beside your current system. It checks every IP pool against the routers that hand out its addresses, and lists each mismatch: expired accounts still holding addresses, addresses in use that the database thinks are free, and static addresses with no lease on the router.
